Thanks again to George for letting me use his station for this contest.
This year, the propagation was better than usual. The first hour was pretty slow, but things picked up after 0030 UTC when the band opened to the Carolinas and Virginia. That opening lasted just under an hour. Just after 0215 UTC, the band opened up to California, and my best rate of the contest was in the final ten minutes. The band was sounding great at the end of the contest - too bad that opening hadn't started an hour earlier :-)
Maybe next year there will be Eskip.
