W5EHM participated in the ARRL November Sweepstakes, Phone, conducted during the weekend of 18-19 November 1995. We operated in the Multioperator Single Transmitter (M) class, with KC5GPG, N1PVB, N1LWI, SQ9DDZ, and KA5WSS operating.
This was my first HF radio contest, and I'm sure I made only a very few contacts, all under the watchful eye of Robert Barron KA5WSS, as I was still only a "Technician with HF Priveleges." One of the other operators, Tom Orzechowski SQ9DDZ, also operated with a control operator present, as he did not yet have a valid U.S. license at the time.
